Litterboom Moved Up-river

The litter boom has been moved from the Camargue bridge closer to the Steenberg rd bridge, as this is where most of the litter comes from. So now we can stop it closer to main source of pollution in the area.

This is a temporary measure until we get a better, stronger litter boom for a similar location; it’s taking a while to organise this. An additional clean-up of litter, where accessible, has also been done in the river.

A few paths have been mown, alongside the river, to give better access. And otherwise the garden and trees are coming along nicely with all the rain and sun.
